(Fixed) Wells Fargo – duplicates are importing with Direct Access

UPDATE: to resolve the issue with duplicates, please follow these steps:

Take your Wells Fargo accounts offline by double-clicking on the account name in the sidebar and choose “Check Status” and then “Take Offline”.

Next, delete any existing duplicates in your Wells Fargo account(s).

Then, delete the direct access connection details. Go to File> Subscription > Direct Access and click on the text that says “Click here to view currently active banks”. From the list of your Direct Access Banks, click the ‘Delete’ button next to all of the Wells Fargo listings.

Next, please take the following steps to relink your accounts. Double-click on the Wells Fargo account(s) in the sidebar and choose “Take Online” and follow the prompts to relink each of your accounts.

Click on the refresh button to import transactions. You should no longer see duplicate transactions appear.

4/12/2021 Our aggregator is aware that some of our Wells Fargo customers are seeing duplicate transactions being imported. They are working diligently on getting this issue resolved as soon as possible. We will update this article as we learn more.
