How do I delete my Direct Access banks and cloud sync data from IGG Software’s servers?

If you would like to remove your connected accounts from Direct Access and/or delete your data from our Cloud Sync server, please follow these instructions. Please note, if you do this there is no “undo” and your data will not be recoverable. Normally people only want to do this if they have decided they no longer want to use Banktivity and would like to clean up their digital footprint.

Remove your banks from the Activated Bank List on Mac

  1. Got to File > Manage Banktivity Services
  2. Choose Direct Access
  3. Click on “Click here to view currently active banks…”
  4. Click on “Delete” for all accounts in the list

Delete Cloud Sync Documents from the Mac

  1. Go to File> Manage Banktivity Services> Sync Documents
  2. Click “Delete” beside any/all Cloud Sync Documents

Turn off Syncing on Mac

  1. Go to File > Manage Banktivity Services
  2. Choose Sync Settings and select “Turn of Syncing”

Remove your banks from the Activated Bank List on iOS

  1. Tap on the settings icon at the top right
  2. Tap on Subscription
  3. Tap on Show All Direct Access Banks…
  4. Tap on the minus symbol to the right off the account name
  5. Tap on Delete

Delete Cloud Sync Documents from iOS 

  1. Tap ‘<Close’ or ‘<Back’ until you see a “Banktivity ID Services” option, then tap “Banktivity ID Services”
  2. Sign in to your Banktivity ID account
  3. Swipe from right to left on the Cloud Document name until you see a “Delete” button, then tap “Delete”

Turn off syncing on iOS

  1. Tap on the settings icon at the top right
  2. Tap on Sync Settings
  3. Tap on Troubleshooting
  4. Choose Remove Sync Settings
