The password for my online banking account has changed. How do I update that in Banktivity?

If your online banking account credentials have been changed, you will need to update them in Banktivity in order to continue updating your accounts using Direct Access or OFX Direct Download/Bill Pay.

To do this, you will first need to disable the existing credentials.

Double click on the account from the left side of the window and a pop up window should appear. Within that window, please select “Check Status”.

Then, you should see a Take Offline option. Click on that.

Once the account is offline, you can take it back online by double clicking on the account once more and selecting “Configure Access”.

Go through the prompts to locate your bank, and select the Download method. Once you enter the new credentials, you should be able to connect and download transactions once more.

If there is an error, please make sure you are able to log into your online banking site using those exact same credentials before contacting Support.
